Primary Outcomes:
- Generate drawings and 3D models that are comprehensive and accurately define and depict the project work which meets or exceeds the Project Managers expectations for thoroughness and quality.
- Generate drawings and 3D models that include all necessary information for project to be programmed, fabricated, and installed accurately without additional questions or assumptions.
- Drawings and 3D models delivered to customers (both internal and external) on or before agreed upon due dates.
- Generate accurate and complete bill of materials that meets or exceeds the Project Managers expectations on or before agreed upon date.
- Understand and promote the company vision and values.
Detailed Tasks, Duties and Deliverables:
Learns and Performs the following project tasks as directed:
- Participate in internal and external scopes to gather information and answer questions necessary for a successful project
- Creates 3D model of substrate and panel system reflective of best available information
- Design panel conditions that follow architectural design intent while being ideal, installable and maximize material yield
- Attends scan hand off meetings to learn full project scope and material limitations, all unique conditions involved and the level of scan needed to allow for the drawing and fabrication of the panels
- Point cloud registration, pre-processing of scans, cropping and placing into software as assigned
- Derive accurate surface definition from point cloud data
- Maintains project model to ensure accuracy of the model and shops
- Produce shop drawings fully describing the project
- Drawing revision from shop drawing review meeting
- Creates Material Takeoffs reflecting all materials required for a project
- Creates fab ticket drawings for all non-standard parts and panels
- Drawing revisions from customer prior to approval
- Drawing revisions from field dimensions
- Create installation drawings as requested
- Complete shop drawing audits
- Generate panel programs from shop drawings and models that have been revised according to the field measurements
- Generate assembly drawings as necessary to successfully communicate intentions and directions to production.
- Coordinate and instruct Production on any special packaging or shipping instructions.
- Release complete and accurate Production Release Packets to Production.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience in a construction or engineering field.
- Minimum 3 yrs experience 3D drafting or modeling
- Rhinoceros8 experience preferred.
