What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at METACYCLE LLC?
Proactively keep all Injection Molding machines and Secondary processes supplied with necessary materials and components along with removing product as needed. Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts for materials being moved.
Qualifications:- Monitor Injection Molding machines and Secondary production for needed materials and deliver prior to running out
- Ensure correct usage of regrind is being used
- Clean machine material system when changing material types
- Blends material based on Bill of Material details when needed
- Ensure ALL material movements are properly transferred in inventory system immediately, from the existing location to the new location
- Completes ALL paperwork timely and completely
- Responsible to print labels for product ensuring accurate part numbers and box quantities
- Ensure product and raw materials are physically transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in inventory system.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies, low inventories and troubleshoot to help resolve.
- Completes all paperwork timely and completely
- Maintain an organized & clean production & warehouse area, ensuring a safe work environment
- Report timely, all safety, quality & equipment issues to supervision
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor
