What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at METACYCLE LLC?
- Monitor machines and production for needed materials and deliver prior to running out
- Clean machine material system when changing material types
- Blends material when needed
- Ensure ALL material movements are properly transferred in software system
- Completes ALL paperwork timely and completely
- Responsible to print labels for product ensuring accurate part numbers and box quantities
- Ensure product is physically transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in software system.
- Ensure all raw materials are removed and transferred to the warehouse and properly scanned in software system.
- Ensure all previous materials are removed prior to bringing in the next production run materials to avoid mix-ups
- Notify management of inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot to help resolve
- Notify management when inventories are low as compared to past quantities
- Maintain an organized & clean production & warehouse areas, ensuring a safe work environment
- Report timely, all safety, quality & equipment issues to supervision
- Must blend material as needed
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor
