The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services across the Bay Area portfolio — including owned and leased campuses, mission critical lab environments, and office spaces — while managing a team of site-level Facilities Managers and vendor service providers.

Bay Area Regional Facilities Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) service delivery across the Bay Area portfolio, ensuring consistent standards and high-quality outcomes that support our diverse workforce and technical environments
  • Directly manage and develop a team of site-level Facilities Managers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Drive day-to-day facilities operations across multiple campuses, inclusive of critical lab spaces and 24/7 technical operations, ensuring appropriate triage and execution in alignment with KPI/SLA targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IFM vendors and service providers, managing contracts, performance, and issue resolution to ensure seamless delivery, and provide direction to onsite vendor teams inclusive of facilities and engineering services
  • Partner with the Head of Americas Regional Facilities to translate regional strategies into Bay Area execution plans, providing local market expertise and insights to inform broader Americas and global strategies

  • Develop and manage Bay Area facilities OpEx and CapEx budgets, including forecasting and performance to plan, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet business needs
  • Partner closely with local business leadership, cross-functional teams, and corporate functions to execute priorities and ensure alignment on facilities initiatives, leading client relationship management for all internal clients across Bay Area sites
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement programs that reduce operating costs while increasing productivity and workplace experience, driving standardization across sites
  • Lead Bay Area campus resiliency planning and execution, supporting business critical and emergency situations to ensure minimum disruption

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in corporate real estate and/or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role managing facilities professionals
  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed, multi-campus portfolio inclusive of leased and owned assets
  • Experience delivering IFM programs across complex environments, including mission critical operations

  • Experience communicating and presenting effectively to diverse audiences, with the ability to influence leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience identifying opportunities for improvement and driving operational consistency
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and navigating competing priorities across multiple sites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification in facilities management such as CFM, FMP, or equivalent
  • Experience managing facilities operations at scale across a large corporate or technology campus environment
  • Experience leading facilities teams through site expansions, capital improvement projects, or large-scale workplace transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Familiarity with integrated workplace management systems or computer-aided facilities management platforms
