What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Advocate position at MET Opportunities?
Build relationships with families to understand their needs and goals.
Provide one-on-one coaching and goal-setting support.
Advocate for families in accessing housing, healthcare, education, and financial assistance.
Assist with navigating state and local programs, including benefits and social services.
Partner with local organizations to expand resource networks.
Represent the program at community events and outreach activities.
Maintain accurate case notes and data for program evaluation.
Submit timely reports on family progress and outcomes.
Complete and manage reports and activities in accordance with program
Collect data and track client progress and conduct assessments to identify possible interventions, provide guidance and referrals to resources.
Facilitate group activities, program overviews, and
Participate in staff meetings, case reviews and supervised
Track required program data, maintain case files, assessments, support services and work experience by federal, state and agency funding.
Maintain and submit in a timely manner all required program
Organize and inventory supplies and
Participate in reflective supervision as required.
Participate in staff meetings as required.
Obtain competency based professional development as required.
Participate in continuous quality
Report to work at scheduled time and maintain good Perform all duties in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Participate with a positive attitude and behavior in all program activities.
Maintain confidentiality in all areas of
