What are the responsibilities and job description for the R&D Technician position at Messina Talent Advisors?
Seeking an R&D Technician to support product development work including experiments, prototype development, data generation, and routine QC testing. We are growing our R&D team and are looking for a hands-on lab technician to support an active development environment.
This role includes:
- Hands-on experimental work (sample prep, testing, formulations, trials)
- Supporting R&D experiments and development projects
- Collecting, recording, and organizing experimental data
- Maintaining lab equipment and materials
- Following SOPs while adapting as methods evolve — we need someone comfortable with variation and problem-solving, not just repetitive testing
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; hands-on experience required
- Reliable, organized, and communicates well with scientists and supervisors
- Flexible when priorities shift and takes ownership of their work and lab space
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. — sponsorship is not available for this role
