As a Nursing Supervisor at Messiah Lifeways, you play a key role in coordinating and ensuring exceptional resident care while leading and supporting your neighborhood’s care team. You’ll work in a collaborative, uplifting environment where nurses feel valued, respected, and empowered.
As a nursing supervisor, you will:
- Lead and support nursing team members on your assigned neighborhood and shift.
- Coordinate and direct clinical and administrative aspects of nursing services.
- Support team accountability, including initiating disciplinary procedures when needed.
- Promote personal and professional growth of staff.
- Establish and maintain effective interdepartmental working relationships and promote guest relations.
- Conduct conferences and discussions with personnel to encourage participation in formulating departmental policies, promote initiatives, solve problems, and present new procedures.
- Provide high-quality, person-centered nursing care to residents.
- Oversee and implement individualized care plans from admission through ongoing updates.
- Foster a safe, positive, and relationship-centered environment for residents and staff.
- Support the planning of nursing education programs for all levels of personnel.

What You Bring
- Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certified in CPR by approved program that meets the state and federal regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with EHR systems and basic technology tools (preferred).
- One year of clinical experience is helpful but not required.
