We are currently seeking a Safety Analyst that has superior time management skills and attention to detail. A successful candidate needs to be comfortable working under pressure and possess the ability to communicate with Executives, Managers, and team members in a confident, professional way.

The Safety Analyst position collaborates with safety management and operations to review trend analyses, provide data interpretation, and create monthly reports that are used by executive management. The position is also responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative duties including preparing reports, document management, planning meetings and logistics, creating marketing materials, and department communications. This position will support remote safety staff with general reporting and compliance, training and data entry, and analysis of reports and trends.

What You Will Do

  • Provide high level support with a high degree of initiative, confidentiality and professional demeanor. Maintain poise to project professional image with high energy, diplomacy and creativity.
  • Responsible for development, generation, analysis, and interpretation of safety and other related data to identify performance trends; recommendation and implementation of training programs or other programs to improve safety and compliance in all aspects of our business.
  • Maintains records, reports, and documents required to meet company and regulatory requirements including injuries, near misses, training, etc.
  • Manage safety prequalification process for subcontractors
  • Maintain training records for the safety & craft departments. Coordinate (and occasionally provide) safety training to staff.
  • Maintain department intranet pages and data and file storage protocols for department
  • Daily duties to support department KPIs and GEMBA metrics.
  • Manage department calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls, including all associated logistics.
  • Develop a working understanding of the departmental budget, managing check requests, process invoices and determine correct location to code expenses

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; EHS course of study preferred, other areas of study considered
  • 0 - 3 years of experience; preference for experience in construction safety
  • Technical working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations
  • Practical experience in employee safety training
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
