Job Summary
Oversee Item Setup process from suppliers entered into Vendor Item Portal (VIP), and then passing through Master Data Model (MDM), Venus, Production Identification Database (PID), and into POS, PLUM and DSD Host systems. Support the category managers and work with technical specialists that lead the various setup teams and support the daily activities of coordinated item setup. Obtain working knowledge of related Merchandising Systems, such as Point of Sale (POS), Rules Based Pricing (RBP), Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO), and Financial Cost Billing (FCB). Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Work with Deli Merchandising Category Management Team, Sourcing Team, Replenishment Teams, Divisions and Suppliers to implement and update all areas of item set up process and related functions
- Ensure timely and accurate setup of item information
- Partner with all above mentioned teams and technical specialists to resolve any data integrity issues
- Work cross-functionally with Data Quality and other Merchandising Service teams to improve accuracy of data flow between applications
- Develop item setup and maintenance recommendations, best practices and training
- Provide clear, concise communication across all areas of the business to accomplish desired outcomes

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Working understanding of current enterprise systems: PID, Venus, MDM, FCB, CAO, POS Host, DSD Host, PLUM Host
- Any related equivalent work experience
