What Will You Do
- Support Angelee Holbrook, the full-time Graphic Designer, and Lindsey Montgomery, the Strategic Marketing Manager, in executing design projects that align with Messer’s branding and marketing goals.
- Assist in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing creative designs for marketing materials across various platforms.
- Collaborate with the Pursuit Marketing team to create custom graphics that support sales efforts and business development initiatives.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality design standards.
- Organize and manage digital assets to ensure efficiency in accessing and utilizing design files.
- Gain hands-on experience with print production, from preparing files for press to reviewing final outputs.
- Take creative direction and feedback from multiple team members while maintaining a collaborative and adaptable approach.
- Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Co-op or internship experience in graphic design is a plus.
- Good understanding of fundamental design principles for both web and print, including typography, composition, color theory, and information hierarchy.
- Familiarity with the print production process, including preparing pre-press files.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with some skills in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or After Effects a plus.
- HTML and CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Experience or coursework in a B2B setting and/or professional services environment is a plus.
- Experience with email marketing platforms like Campaign Monitor is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
