What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar position at Mesquite ISD?
Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Registrar / Counselor Secretary at the middle school level.
The appointee will report directly to the Counselor / Registrar and to the campus Principal and will be responsible for the clerical duties and related responsibilities associated with the position.
The person will work closely with staff, students, and parents.
Qualifications : The secretary will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preference will be given to applicants who :
- have appropriate clerical and / or secretarial experience
- have knowledge of computer functions and programs, including word processing, spreadsheet, and data base
- possess strong analytical and organizational skills
- exhibit a high level of proficiency in data processing applications
- have a service oriented personality
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary : Pay Range : Administrative / Technical Support (3); $17.35 to $25.68 (hourly); 212 day position
Employment begins : October 11, 2024 or as soon as possible
