About Mesquite Gaming:

Mesquite Gaming is a high-growth resort casino company in Mesquite, Nevada, about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas. We have just completed a full renovation, with new rooms, new venues and new restaurants, and we need motivated, data-driven people to help us reach more guests and bring them back more often. Our properties are CasaBlanca Resort, a full-service resort with casino, hotel, spa and golf, and Virgin River Casino, a value-focused casino and hotel.

Why this role:

We are building database marketing into the engine of guest growth: who we invite back, with which offer, and how we prove it worked. You will own the analysis behind our Mesquite Journey rewards offers, put our deep player database to work, and work directly with the VP of Marketing and the executive team. Your analysis will shape how reinvestment (free play, hotel and dining offers) is spent across both properties. You will join a dynamic, high-performing, AI-forward team that already uses AI across marketing and finance.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain guest segmentation (worth, visit frequency and recency, geography, tier) and produce target lists for direct mail, email, SMS and host outreach.
• Own proofing and validation for every campaign before it drops: list counts, segment and offer checks, address hygiene (NCOA), suppressions and contact-frequency limits. You are the last check before anything goes out.
• Support Player Development with host coding, PD list production and analysis of host-managed guests in our casino management system, working with the PD team.
• Measure every campaign: set up holdout groups, read incremental lift and report results by segment.
• Build promotional pro formas before launch and post-analyses after, comparing offer cost to incremental revenue.
• Track churn and reactivation: flag guests who are lapsing and test win-back offers.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for core KPIs (active guests, trips, net win per visit, reinvestment rate, campaign ROI).
• Write SQL against the marketing data warehouse and automate recurring reporting with Python and AI tools.
• Present findings to marketing and property leaders in plain language, with a clear recommendation.

What you bring:

Must-have

• 2 years in database marketing, CRM or marketing analytics (casino, hospitality, travel, retail loyalty or subscription businesses).
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong SQL and advanced Excel.
• Accurate, detail-driven campaign execution: experience proofing and validating lists and offers before they go out.
• Experience with a BI tool (Power BI preferred; Tableau or similar is fine).
• Campaign and promotion measurement: pro formas and pre/post analysis.
• Designing holdout / control-group or A/B tests and reading incremental lift.
• You turn analysis into a decision a non-technical leader can act on.

Nice-to-have

• Casino marketing and player development: offers and reinvestment, player tiers, theo / ADT, host coding and PD lists.
• Casino marketing systems (e.g., Aristocrat Oasis 360, Konami SYNKROS, Light & Wonder CMP, QCI) or a CRM / CDP (e.g., Salesforce, Optimove, Braze).
• Python or R; propensity, churn or lifetime-value models.
• Using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to automate analysis.
