Bakery Specialist

Job Overview

As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Utilize various kitchen equipment and tools safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to comply with food safety regulations.
• Assist with catering orders by preparing items according to customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and taking special requests when necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in baking or pastry preparation.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols.
• Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus.
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is advantageous but not required.
• A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is essential.
