Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, and inventory control.
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring safety and security standards are met.
- Communicate with designated management regarding issues and workflow.
- Perform Warehouse Supervisor functions while working with Customer Service and Local Operations/Dispatch.
- Perform 100% of the expectations when it comes to the Extensiv 3PL and the MoversSuite systems.
- Evaluate productivity and performance of warehouse staff to ensure successful completion of services.
- Ensure that all service level agreements and measurables for company and clients are achieved.
- Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness.
- Report Warehouse capacity levels weekly.
- Complete Monthly Safety and Equipment Reports.
- Due to the dynamic nature of warehouse operations, supervisors might be required to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- Basic math and inventory management skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Forklift Certification required (in-house training provided).
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
- Regularly lift 40 pounds.
- The ability to stay on your feet for 4 hours at a time.
- Able to crouch, twist, and reach overhead.
- Mobility to climb and descend ladders and operate a forklift.
- Sufficient hearing and speaking to give and receive instructions, and vision sufficient to observe work areas, operate a forklift, and read fine print.
- The job is primarily set in a warehouse environment, which can include indoor and outdoor duties.
- Varying temperatures, including potential exposure to extreme cold and hot conditions.
