What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Practice Management position at Mesa View Regional?
Reporting to the Hospital CEO, the Director of Physician Practices is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the clinics by managing specific administrative functions and the clinic staff, and to oversee business functionality of the practice.This position ensures compliance with bylaws, policies, and applicable regulations. Plans, coordinates, and manages personnel and resources in order to provide the highest quality patient care with professional and competent staff in the most cost-effective manner. Collaborates with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care. Develop positive relationships with local key health care providers, local business affiliates, local government and the general public. The Practice Administrator will demonstrate the following competencies and skills: strong patient focus; a strong working relationship with physician partners; will demonstrate strong operational, financial and management capabilities; ability to work strategically as well as tactically; results orientated with a focus on improving the bottom line, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works closely with Mesa View Regional Hospital’s CEO on physician and provide recruitment to coordinate on hospital’s overall development strategy.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or related field strongly preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in clinic operations. RHC experience preferred
Skills: Excellent communication. Ability to work well with a wide variety of professionals at all levels in the health care system.
