Registered Nurse - PACU - PRN

Position Details:
- Shift: PRN (As Needed)
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Hourly Rate: $37.80 - $47.25 (based on experience)
Job Summary:
- The PACU Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care.
- As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation.
- The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s).
- Monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response.
- Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.
- Two (2) years of previous PACU Nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada.
- Current BLS required.
- PALS, ACLS required.
- All Certifications must be held through AHA or ARC.
Education
Required- Associates or better in Nursing

Required- C-ARC-PALS
- C-ARC-ALS
- C-ARC-BLS
- L-NV-RN License
