Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Crew Members to join our team at our second location in downtown Portland with the growth opportunity of becoming a shift lead. As a Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Duties:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols and guidelines
- Assist with stocking inventory and supplies
Skills:
- Proficiency in culinary techniques and food preparation
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Experience in food service industry
- Familiarity with operating a cash register
- Strong customer service skills to interact with guests effectively
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is beneficial
