What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMBEDDED MAINTENANCE PLANNER - IAD position at Mesa Air Group?
- Embedded Maintenance Planner reports to the Manager of Maintenance Planning and is responsible for planning and scheduling aircraft workorders
- Responsible for all planning, coordination and scheduling activities applicable to aircraft scheduled maintenance events at the assigned Maintenance Station.
- Verifies aircraft are routed accordingly to meet Enroute and Overnight (RON) assigns maintenance activities at the assigned Maintenance Station.
- Ensures all mandated maintenance compliances are achieved within time constraints as prescribed.
- Assemble nightly work packages, issue task cards, and ensure all tasks/work expected are set up for the evening.
- Works with overall Maintenance Planners to ensure planned maintenance workloads for all applicable aircraft are assigned and complete.
- Assemble a nightly work scope with details of what is going to be done as well as what parts/tools are required to provide to FMU at the Maintenance Station nightly. Conduct a meeting to go over work scope and challenges for the evening's work.
- Prints work packet and assemble the work package.
- Creates routine and non-routine work cards in PMI as required.
- Prints PMI work order report and parts pending report for verification and ensure that needed corrections are properly completed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Has intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Must be able to work the established weekend and holiday work schedules.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Detail-oriented.
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
