We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) with preferred experience in long-term care settings to join our dynamic healthcare team. We have a full-time day shift, full-time varied shifts and per diem opportunities. This vital role involves providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by adhering to infection control practices and aseptic techniques
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Use proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to assist residents safely during mobility activities
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy standards
Skills
- Proven experience working in long-term care facilities or similar settings such as nursing homes or assisted living communities
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care for accurate medical documentation
- Strong communication skills for effective caregiver-patient interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
