The System Director, Critical Care is a key nurse leader responsible for the safety, quality, and operational excellence for the intensive care and telemetry units across the system. This leader has overall responsibility for planning, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of nursing care delivery for these divisions to provide safe, high quality, clinical care system wide.
The Director collaborates with administrators, physicians, managers and other disciplines to assure the integration of interdisciplinary team members to the service lines. This position supervises managers overseeing the units within their scope of practice.
