Laborer/Foreman

Job Overview

As a Laborer/Foreman, you’ll help keep construction work safe, organized, and on schedule. You’ll lead crews in the field while contributing hands-on labor, coordinating daily tasks, reviewing drawings, and communicating progress and issues to project teams. This role suits someone who combines construction site experience with practical leadership and a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew assignments, monitor work progress, and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials with the project schedule.
• Perform construction labor and review blueprints and technical drawings to guide work and resolve field questions.
• Support construction project management through schedule coordination, quality control, budgeting awareness, and contract requirements.
• Enforce construction safety management practices, including applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and federal construction safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with crews and project stakeholders; document work and updates using construction management software.

Skills

• Required: Construction experience, construction site experience, supervising experience, crew management, and experience managing teams in a construction management role.
• Required: Blueprint reading, construction drawing review, interpreting technical drawings, construction scheduling, project scheduling, and construction schedule coordination.
• Required: Knowledge of construction regulations, construction safety management, quality control, contracts, and managerial communication.
• Preferred: Experience with commercial construction, construction management, and construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Primavera, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid.
• Preferred: Pipeline project experience and familiarity with an ohmmeter.

Pay: $16.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
