Position Summary
As a Fabrication Operations Technician, you’ll take on projects that demand ingenuity, hands-on skill, and pride in workmanship. From reading blueprints to welding steel, from fitting ductwork to installing large-scale agricultural and biosolid treatment equipment, this role is about turning complex challenges into complete, working solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job order specs to create field-fit fabrication solutions.

Fabricate, retrofit, and install steel assemblies, conveyors, ductwork, and system transitions across multiple process stages.

Weld steel precisely, ensuring strength and clean finishes without distortion.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to solve installation challenges in real time.

Operate welding and fabrication tools, forklifts, hoists, and rigging equipment.

Inspect welds, alignments, and fits to meet specs and production standards.

Travel to customer sites to install and commission turnkey biosolid treatment systems.

Contribute innovative problem-solving and craftsmanship in a servant-leadership culture.

Uphold all safety protocols and promote a team environment grounded in trust and accountability.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Proven ability to read and apply welding symbols, diagrams, and complex blueprints.

Hands-on fabrication and welding experience, with strong fitting and installation skills.

Millwright or field-installation background with large equipment a plus.

Mechanical aptitude and creative problem-solving mindset.

Ability to adapt designs on-site and work independently or with a team.

Commitment to safety and teamwork.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Technical certificate in welding/fabrication preferred.

3–5 years experience in fabrication, welding, millwright, or related work.

Heavy equipment manufacturing or aluminum welding a plus.
