What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Transport Operator position at MERRELL BROS INC?
Merrell Bros., Inc. – Indiana Division is hiring a full-time Class A CDL Driver for steady, recession-proof work that pays what you’re worth. If you’re tired of promises that don’t match your paycheck, and you take pride in running safe, clean equipment, keep reading. You’ll run newer Mack Trucks (2020–2027 models), all automatic, and you’ll be assigned your own truck and trailer — no jumping from unit to unit. We expect you to take care of your equipment, and in return, our in-house mechanics handle the major maintenance so you can focus on driving and making money.
This position includes pulling tankers (experience is a plus), along with tri-axle and quad-axle dumps, lowboys, roll-offs, and dry transport trailers. It’s a mix of local and regional work. Some overnight travel is required, but hotel rooms are provided and you’ll earn additional overnight bonus pay. If you’re willing to travel for project work, there’s even more earning potential on the table.
We run a safety-first operation. Your MVR and CSA scores matter here, and a clean driving record is mandatory. We back our drivers with 24/7 support because when you’re on the road, you shouldn’t feel like you’re on your own.
If you want dependable miles, strong pay, solid equipment, and a company that values hard work and professionalism, this is your opportunity. Merrell Bros. isn’t just offering a driving job — we’re offering a career with stability and respect.
