Merone's Catering is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Expeditor / Order Coordinator to join our growing aviation catering team.
As an Expeditor, you will be the final quality checkpoint before every order leaves our kitchen. You'll ensure every catering order is accurate, complete, properly packaged, labeled, and dispatched on time while working closely with the kitchen, drivers, and customer service team.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify catering orders for accuracy and completeness
- Package and label catering orders according to company standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet Merone's Catering standards
- Coordinate and dispatch orders to delivery drivers
- Communicate with the kitchen and customer service team regarding order updates
- Monitor delivery schedules and prioritize time-sensitive aviation orders
- Maintain an organized dispatch and packing area
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and light kitchen support as needed
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or aviation is preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Available Shifts
- Full-Time
- Morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts available
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
