Job Description
The Flight Scheduler will manage all aspects of dispatch and operations, ensuring smooth logistics for all departing and arriving flights. The primary focus is to ensure that all flights are operated in compliance with Company policy, procedures, regulatory requirements, and to provide a high level of customer service to clients. This position requires a basic knowledge of FAA regulations and an understanding of domestic and international aircraft operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task, in addition to a strong ethic of teamwork are required for consideration.
Two years in a similar role or fast paced environment preferred.
Job Profile:
- Ensure all ground handling, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order before releasing a flight.
- Track all aircraft.
- Track crew duty times for Federal regulations.
- Identify, anticipate, and take corrective action to minimize potential/actual delays due to scheduling operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues.
- Provides an exemplary level of customer service to aircraft clients and owners, ensuring the customer experience meets and exceeds customer expectations.
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize, and communicate.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.

- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Rotation schedule with some nights and weekends required; must be flexible.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Part 135 experience of one year or more is preferred.
- One or more years of experience as a Flight Scheduler in the aviation industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Able to work as a part of a team in a high stress, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all cases regarding client information and travel schedule.
- Knowledge of aircraft scheduling principles and aircraft trip planning resources including knowledge of FAA regulations, airport information, resources available for trip planning, aircraft and trip support.
- Highly motivated and organized.
- Must have strong analytical skills and be able to make complex decisions.
- Ability to work through multiple problems/solutions prioritizing and sequencing the execution of issues to manage and resolve them quickly and effectively
- Strong computer proficiency, including advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with JetInsight a plus.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate in a professional manner with customers, staff, and management.
