Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for PC hardware, software, thin clients, and network connectivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve standard technical issues with professionalism and follow-through
- Install and configure PC operating systems and applications according to Meritus Health standards
- Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows OS, graphical user interfaces, and advanced application features (e.g., macros, databases, OLE)
- Serve as a visible and approachable representative of the IT team, delivering excellent customer service
- Document support activities and escalate complex issues as needed
- Support end users across clinical and administrative departments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Uphold Meritus Health’s values of excellence, integrity, and collaboration in every interaction
Education
- Associate’s degree or completion of technical school coursework required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of four years of hands-on computer user support experience required
- Experience with PC hardware, software, and troubleshooting required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and advanced application tools preferred
- Professional certification such as A or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred
- For use of personal vehicles:
- Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license from any state required
- Must sign “Attestation A” of Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy, including personal insurance coverage requirements
- For use of Meritus vehicles:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred (no moving violations in past 3 years)
- Certified copy of driving record required annually on date of birth
- Must sign “Attestation A” of Meritus Vehicle Management Use and Control policy
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements are not accepted for this role
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Thorough understanding of PC hardware, software, and network connections
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
