What You'll Do
As a Central Distribution Tech, you’ll be responsible for:
- Receiving, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies using computerized systems
- Delivering supplies and procedure trays to/from distribution centers and patient care areas
- Ensuring stock rotation and checking expiration dates to maintain supply integrity
- Participating in weekly cycle counts and annual inventory audits
- Communicating effectively with team members and departments to meet supply needs
- Prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction
- High School diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in supply chain distribution and customer service preferred
- Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
This role involves:
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate for extended periods
- Occasional exposure to temperature fluctuations and hazardous materials
