We are seeking a Production Planner / Inventory Control Specialist to support manufacturing operations by planning production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring materials are available to meet production demands. This role works closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory, improve material flow, and support on-time production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.
- Track inventory accuracy and resolve shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Communicate schedule changes and material issues to production teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in production planning or inventory control (manufacturing environment).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move between office, stockroom, and production floor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
