Role Overview
The Investor Relations Associate plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s deal analysis, capital-raising efforts, investor engagement, and deal pipeline development. This position bridges the gap between investors, acquisition opportunities, and internal deal teams — ensuring efficient communication, thoughtful outreach, and clear analysis of opportunities. Reports to: Director of Investor Relations.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Onboarding
- Manage the onboarding process for new investors, including documentation, data room access, and follow-up communication to ensure a seamless experience.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain and optimize the CRM to track investor activity, capital allocator pipeline, and communication cadence.
- Build and manage a structured outreach calendar with targeted follow-up.
Deal Pipeline & Analysis
- Review a minimum of five CIMs weekly, summarizing key deal points and providing clear recommendations on whether to advance or decline.
- Support the investment team by flagging strategic fits and identifying red flags early.
Capital Allocator Outreach
- Build and maintain a pipeline of capital allocators for ongoing relationship development.
- Conduct at least five new outreach efforts per week and maintain a consistent cadence of follow-up meetings.
Content & Communication
- Publish a minimum of 3 relevant LinkedIn posts per week to support firm visibility, thought leadership, and investor engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to align messaging with current acquisition activity and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in M&A, Private Equity, Real Estate or Business Development.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in investor relations, capital markets, or private equity preferred.
- Proficiency in reviewing and summarizing CIMs and investment opportunities.
- Skilled with CRM platforms and relevant communication platforms for professional outreach.
- Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
