The Position
The Financial Advisor is a fully licensed financial professional who manages a book of business, develops new client relationships, and provides comprehensive financial advice. This role is responsible for deepening client relationships through personalized planning and investment strategies. Lead Advisors are expected to meet production goals, participate in business development activities, and serve as the primary advisor to their assigned clients.
Responsibilities
Georgia Fast 40 2019 and 2022: The Georgia Fast 40 for 2019 and 2022 was awarded by the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. To be eligible companies must be for profit and headquartered in Georgia and the most recent year-end revenues ranging from $15 million to $500 million and have three years of verifiable revenue and employment growth.
Inc 5000 2019, 2020 & 2021: The Wilshire 5000 Total Market Index, which consists of more than 5000 companies, represents virtually all of the capitalization of the entire U.S. stock market
Compensation: Merit Financial Advisors offers competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, location, and market data. Where required by applicable law, salary ranges will be provided during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Manage a personal book of business with full client relationship ownership.
- Provide holistic financial planning, investment management, and risk analysis.
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
- Conduct client meetings to deliver tailored financial recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
- Achieve production and revenue targets as established by firm leadership.
- Stay informed on industry developments, compliance requirements, and market conditions.
- Mentor junior advisors and team members.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Active Series 65 license, Series 66 license, CFP designation, CFA designation, ChFC designation, or CIC designation required.
- Proven track record in financial advising and business development.
- Exceptional relationship management and consultative sales skills.
- Demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess a willingness to learn firm technologies
