Our client, Marshmallow's Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mitigating youth suicide by providing pro bono psychotherapy treatment to individuals aged 9 to 26. We also offer grief counselingfor those affected by the loss of suicide. Responsibilities:• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions with clients within the specified age range, utilizingevidence-based therapeutic approaches.• Provide grief counseling services to individuals and families impacted by suicide loss, fosteringhealing and coping strategies.• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to eachclient's needs and goals.• Participate in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and outpatient counseling continuum ofcare, offering consistent support and guidance to clients.• Group therapy sessions for at-risk youth and suicide survivors• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethicalstandards.• Attend regular team meetings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professionaldevelopment and ensure quality care delivery.• Adhere to Marshmallow's Hope's operating hours, including Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8pm and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.• Typical on-site Clinician hours are 11am-8pm• Other: Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:• Licensed or certified therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with experience in providingpsychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. Licensure preferred, not required.• Specialized training or experience in grief counseling, particularly in the context of suicidebereavement.• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy(CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural competence to effectively engage withdiverse clients and families.• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced,dynamic clinical environment.• Commitment to the mission and values of Marshmallow's Hope, including a dedication to suicideprevention and mental health advocacy.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
