Meridian Services Group is hiring a resource management lead to support a long-term pipe replacement project in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
Develop a resource management system capable of planning for and tracking the assignment, allocation and phasing of a multitude of resources in a dynamic, multi-year program. The system should allow for integration of both internal and external resourcing information.
develop a resource demand and supply forecast with adequate near-term and long-term detail to enable the on-time, on-budget delivery of program scope.
Establish and manage changes against the baseline resource forecast.
Develop and report on resource management key performance indicators, enabling data-driven and actionable insights to the Program Team.
Continuously assess resource performance and develop and propose improvements to the program execution strategy.
Support third party contractor and Alliance discussions and negotiations as requested.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelors or masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management and Business Administration or a related field.
7 years of experience in gas utility, or similar industry, major repair/replacement projects.
Proven track record of resource management in a gas utility or similar industry.
Strong understanding of resource management process, tools and techniques.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of professional-grade resource management applications, techniques and tools.
Familiar with local union rules and labor practices.
Skilled at developing detailed and explainable resource forecasting, assignment and allocation models.
Skilled developing clear, concise and impactful resource management metrics and associated insights for a spectrum of stakeholders.
Skilled at conflict identification and resolution.
Program and/or Project Management Professional certification desired.

Performance Metrics
Strategic Plan Delivery: Timely development and updates, in alignment with change control requirements, of the baseline resource plan.
Financial Alignment: Integration of baseline resource plan with approved capital budgets and rate recovery plans.
Program Objectives & Risk Outcomes: Achievement of strategic objectives, including program targets and risk mitigation benchmarks.
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from executives, regulators, and external stakeholders on clarity and execution of strategy.
Continuous Improvement: Measurable enhancement of planning processes and organizational alignment year over year.

Pay: $85.00 - $100.00 per hour
