Job Overview
We are seeking an experience Leasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a knack for sales, and the ability to handle conflicts effectively. Your expertise in property leasing and office management will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage inquiries from potential renters via phone, email, and in-person interactions, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant applications and lease agreements through effective data entry.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through exceptional customer service and relationship management.
- Utilize property management software to track leads, manage tenant information, and facilitate leasing processes.
- Implement effective conflict management strategies when dealing with tenant concerns or disputes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property leasing or sales is required.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to persuade potential tenants effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks related to real estate operations.
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes and contracts is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
