Overview
A Brooklyn-based property management company is seeking an experienced, dependable Porter/Maintenance Worker to oversee the upkeep of six residential buildings ranging from 6 to 20 units each.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes pride in maintaining clean and well-kept properties, and is comfortable handling routine maintenance, cleaning, and seasonal tasks. The candidate must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, courtyards, basements, and other shared spaces.
- Handle trash removal and recycling.
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance, including changing washers, replacing light switches and light bulbs, and snaking drains.
- Remove snow from property grounds and apply salt to walkways during winter weather.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all assigned buildings.
- Identify maintenance issues and communicate any larger repairs or concerns to management.
- Travel between multiple properties as needed.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
