Our agency is looking for a full-time Patient Care Assistant to work day shift. Our day shift PCAs work 7:00am – 7:30pm and work rotating holidays.

- Collect data that contributes to the assessment and evaluation of individualized care and needs of assigned patients.
- Provide direct care (taking vital signs, transporting to other departments) to patients according to Meridian policy and procedures.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones and order entry as needed.
- Prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a timely efficient manner.
- Help maintain department operations by stocking, handling linens, cleaning equipment and transporting patients.
- Follow safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, and other staff members.
- HS Diploma
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Knowledge of chemical dependency preferred
