Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice. This individual will be responsible for managing patient communications, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, collecting payments, and delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and appointment requests
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
- Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to patient visits
- Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments while maintaining accurate records
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation within Dentrix
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure an efficient patient experience
- Assist with administrative and office support tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office preferred
- Working knowledge of Dentrix practice management software required
- Experience with dental insurance verification and patient billing
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office setting
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed to support the team

Pay: $990.00 - $1,125.00 per week
