Step into our plastics manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC and become the steady hand that keeps payroll humming and benefits running smoothly. As the Payroll and Total Rewards Operations Specialist, you’ll blend accuracy, service, and discretion to support payroll, benefits, and core HR operations on-site.

A day in this role

On Monday morning, you’ll review time and attendance, confirm overtime, and process weekly payroll so every hour and adjustment is captured correctly. Midday might find you answering an employee’s benefits question, processing a qualifying life event, or partnering with a broker to resolve a claim issue. By afternoon, you’ll reconcile benefits invoices, organize payroll records for audit readiness, and prepare a year-end or ad-hoc payroll report. Across all of it, you’ll protect confidential data and provide timely, friendly support.

What you’ll handle regularly

Payroll administration

• Accurately process weekly payroll on schedule.
• Review time and attendance, overtime, and any adjustments.
• Administer payroll deductions including garnishments, child support, and tax levies.
• Maintain complete payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Answer employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate payroll reports and assist with audits and year-end activities.

Benefits administration

• Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) plans.
• Process enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit inquiries.
• Coordinate the annual open enrollment process.
• Reconcile benefit invoices and validate employee eligibility.
• Partner with brokers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

HR support

• Maintain personnel, payroll, and benefits files.
• Support onboarding and new-hire administration.
• Prepare employment verifications and HR reports.
• Assist with compliance activities, audits, and HR projects.
• Safeguard confidential employee information at all times.

What you bring

• 3 years of payroll, benefits, HR administration, or related experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll and administering benefits.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, plus Microsoft Office.
• Clear communication and a service-first approach.
