As a Radiation Therapist at MercyOne, you will assist the Radiation Oncologist in preparing the patient for radiation therapy treatments. Under the supervision/direction of the radiation physicist and oncologist, give radiation therapy treatments. Document in daily logs the correct dosages utilized. Ages of patients served range in age from adult to geriatric.

- 36 hours a week
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (T)
- Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice
- BLS certified within 3 months of hire
- Know basic patient care skills, operation of oxygen equipment, radiation therapy treatment equipment, record and verify system, Linear Accelerator Unit, simulation and block preparation skills
