PRN Radiation Therapist

Role Overview

Seeking a PRN Certified Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of a Radiation Oncologist. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing for additional shifts at various locations when not needed at the primary site. It is a non-benefits eligible role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures.
• Deliver accurate and consistent radiation treatments.
• Complete treatment processes and coordinate patient scheduling.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Board Certified by ARRT and licensed in Illinois.
• RT(T) certification required.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeams, Siemens go.Open Pro CT scanner, and Identify and AlignRT Surface Guidance systems preferred.
• ARIA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  
  

Additional requirements include high school diploma or GED, and a valid RT(T) certification. A bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
