What You Will Do
- Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in
- Provides training, mentoring, and ongoing support to new employees and assists in directing workflow
- Guides intern personnel in the performance of their duties and supports ongoing quality assurance and
- Monitors intern workflow and regularly reviews training materials and workflow documentation, making
- Coordinates intern staffing and work assignments in collaboration with the Intern Manager and/or
- Serves as a resource for staff questions and maintains comprehensive knowledge of processes and
- Organizes and supports intern participation in departmental projects and initiatives.
- Schedules and facilitates regular meetings with intern staff and leadership to promote communication,
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
- Must be registered as a Pharmacy Intern with the State of Iowa.
- One (1) year of Pharmacy experience in a hospital environment preferred.
- Basic Life Support certified within three (3) months of hire.
- Completion of required Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Reporter
