Overview:
Serves to support orientation, competency programs, in-service education, continuing education, academic partnerships, career development and role transition at the Unit level for Mercy coworkers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Required Education: BSN/Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire.
- Certifications: Current appropriate state license if required in discipline. AHA BLS provider.
- Other: Demonstrates clinical knowledge related to evidence-based practice with the credibility to positively influence the delivery of patient care. Proven ability to organize and multitask to meet project deadlines. Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is an advantage. Knowledge of equipment/technology used in delivery of patient care.
