Position Title: Senior Informatics Analyst
Location: Onsite – Mercy Hospital Southeast - Cape Girardeau
Overview:
Mercy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Informatics Analyst to support our Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program. This role plays a critical part in enhancing clinical care delivery through technology and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical care delivery related to the EHR.
- Evaluate and promote new technologies to improve clinical documentation and assessment workflows.
- Support the development and advanced implementation of automated clinical processes.
- Provide direct, at-the-elbow support to EHR end users across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant technical or business role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience/training with electronic health records.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience with Epic EHR.
- Background in data analytics and data management related to systems evaluation.
- Familiarity with medical policy documentation.
- Exposure to all phases of systems analysis and design.
- Understanding of system usability and human factors.
- Experience with business applications and the ability to manage competing priorities.
