Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
Status:Full-Time, 36 hours per week
Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts
No weekends or holidays required!
Qualifications
Education: HS Diploma/equivalent OR Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program
Experience: 6 months experience
Certifications: Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) certification; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Job Responsibilities
Perform sleep study setups, monitoring, and scoring with strong knowledge of CPAP, BiPAP, and oxygendelivery equipment.
Monitor patient oxygen saturation, recognize therapy side effects, and document accurately.
Conduct patient assessments, sleep questionnaires, and presleep screenings.
Complete order entry, verification, precertification steps, and file management.
Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain sleep lab equipment following safety and sterilization protocols.
Maintain required competencies, certifications, CEUs, and attend inservice training sessions.
