Overview:
Leads project teams to improve critical organizational processes that improve quality, patient safety and financial performance. Plans and manages major organizational process improvement change utilizing Six Sigma and Lean Design tools and methodology. Coordinate other Lean Facilitators and personnel to manage multiple Lean projects, Rapid Improvement Cycle Events (RIE), and follow up activities for redesign improvement efforts, ensuring alignment with Leadership goals. Trains, coaches and implements improvement efforts using the principles of Lean Design with other six sigma and redesign specialists, leadership, providers and coworkers. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related discipline
Experience: Five (5) years professional business experience with provenability to identify and resolve problems, plan and conduct complex project assignments and prepare reports.
Certification/Registration: Complete certification in Lean, Six Sigma or an equivalent quality program is required within 1 year.
Other skills & knowledge:(skills, knowledge, abilities)Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively articulate and present complex ideas and information.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Strong analytical skills to gather both quantitative and qualitative data necessary in finding creative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
Must have the ability to learn and do statistical analyses or is skilled in statistical analysis.
Results-oriented change agent who is an effective business systems thinker.
Facilitation skills. Ability to manage risk and ambiguity on projects.
Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to travel up to 25% and meet early mornings and evenings. Full-time position.
