Overview:
Insurance Services Representative III is responsible for collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables including but not limited to unpaid, denied and underpaid claims. Insurance service representative III must communicate effectively, develop/oversee training program and knowledge transfer. Insurance Service Representative III displays quality and productive work habits, possesses comprehensive knowledge in department and all aspects revenue cycle operations. Serves as an operational lead for department. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education:HS Degree or Equivalent.
Experience: Two (2) years revenue cycle or meets position specific duties and responsibilities, EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience.
Other Skills and Knowledge:Intermediate communication and customer service skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge and intermediate Computer and keyboarding skills
Preferred Experience: Prior Revenue Cycle Healthcare billing or insurance.
Other Skills and Knowledge:Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
Expanded Epic knowledge
Ability to collect and analyze data
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
