What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at MERCY PSYCHIATRY Clinic?
We are seeking a full-time medical receptionist.

- Greets patients in a professional, friendly manner. Checks patient in and out along with scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments.
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, check patient's insurances and eligibility, and collecting patient charges.
- Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients, monitoring payments, and following up with patients when payment lapses occur.
- Monitor patients during transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment sessions.
- Keep up and help schedule patients for TMS and Spravato sessions and collect patient balances, call pharmacy insurance ect.
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
