ABOUT THE ROLE
Mercy Home Services has served Colorado families since 1997 and is on an aggressive growth trajectory. Growth so far has come almost entirely through Medicaid. This role exists to build what comes next: private pay first, plus veterans and pediatric Medicaid families. You are the company's first salesperson — you take a documented system and run it at full speed, then hire and lead the liaisons who run it after you.

Every referral tier, script, objection response and conversion benchmark is already written. You are not walking into a blank page and a phone. Most sales jobs offer a quota. This one offers a seat at the table.

WHAT YOU GET

• A system that already works. 60-minute callback rule, 48-hour start-of-care promise, five-tier referral cadence, proven scripts, and an always-on AI voice/SMS agent that captures and books after-hours leads so every call starts warm.

• Direct line to the owner. No middle management between your results and the decisions about your role.

WHAT YOU'LL RUN

• Private pay (lead lane): own the pipeline end to end — source visits, in-home assessments, close, start of care. Two service tiers: standard and concierge (memory care and neuromuscular conditions, higher weekly hours).

• Veterans: place eligible veterans through the VA Homemaker/Home Health Aide program under VA Community Care.

• Pediatric Medicaid (IHSS/CFC): build referral relationships with social workers and case managers at Colorado children's hospitals.

• Five-tier referral system (Platinum → Inactive) across discharge planners, elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, senior living communities, VA and children's hospital social workers.

• Live KPI dashboard — referrals, conversion rate, stalled-lead list — and a weekly sales report to the owner.

• Once consistently at target: recruit, train and manage additional liaisons on the same playbook.

WHO WINS HERE

• You close on speed: the first agency to confirm a start date wins the placement, not the best pitch.

• 2 years of outside, B2B or B2C sales; home care, hospice, senior living or healthcare referral experience is a strong plus, not required.

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and availability to work in clients' homes and referral partners' offices across the Denver metro.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary: $75,000 per year.

• Performance bonus: uncapped; paid on every closed client and on payer-mix improvement. First-year target approximately $55,000 (a target, not a guarantee).

• Team override: additional bonus on the production of liaisons you hire and lead.

• Paid time off, plus paid sick leave.

• Mileage reimbursement for field travel.
