How the Move Works
Your member tells their Case Manager they're choosing Mercy. We handle the paperwork with the Case Management Agency. There's a processing period and it isn't instant. Anyone who promises you a date is guessing.

What Happens After You Apply
1. You get a call about your client, their authorized hours and who else in your family helps.
2. Your member tells their Case Manager they are choosing Mercy. You skip the paperwork; it is ours.
3. You finish a background check and training, then collect your first weekly paycheck. After sixty days: $500 on your next regular paycheck.
The Job
Personal care: bathing, dressing, transfers and meals. Light housekeeping and medication reminders. Delegated health maintenance activities. Visit notes on your phone.
You're paid now, or were recently, to care for someone through Colorado IHSS or CFC (services lapsed? apply anyway). 18 or older, authorized to work in the U.S., able to pass a background check, with reliable transportation.
About Mercy
Family-owned in Aurora since 1997. On Colorado's approved IHSS provider list and a VA Community Care network participant. Small enough that you talk to the same people every time you call.
Compensation
Up to about $70,000 a year, depending on the hours authorized. Paid weekly.
Other compensation: $500 retention bonus, paid as taxable wages. It is paid on the first regular payroll after sixty days of continuous employment with verified visits, counted from your first verified shift.
Benefits: paid sick leave, earned at one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours a year. Training provided by Mercy.
