What Is This Job All About?
- You will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments.
- General clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone system, managing waitlist, and sending notification letters.
- Greeting patients and entering appointments into the EMR system.
- Making sure patients fill out necessary forms.
What We Need from You:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare business office.
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Spanish-speaking highly preferred.
- Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.
- Provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of patients.
- Experience with EMR operating system such as eCW highly preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and shorthand.
