About Your Team Leader
Your team leader, Miranda (she/her), is the organizing manager for the United States and Canada. She started organizing for animal protection in college as a volunteer before joining the movement full time in 2019. Her experiences in college showed her how meaningful and fulfilling volunteering can be, especially when you’re making a real difference. She developed a passion for bringing new people into the movement and giving them an opportunity to share their time and skills to make the world a better place for animals. Miranda values openness, creative thinking, and a willingness to try new things and learn from failure. Outside Mercy For Animals, you can find Miranda playing beach volleyball, rock climbing, and spoiling her two dogs, Duda and Anders.
