Mercury Systems is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to support the Manufacturing Engineering team with manufacturing process improvements, performance monitoring, and data analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and operational efficiency
- Partner with the Manufacturing Engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
- Participate in team meetings to contribute to product and process improvement initiatives
- Interpret, analyze, and summarize large datasets to support decision-making
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities beyond predefined KPIs
- Conduct statistical data analysis and create clear charts, dashboards, and reports
- Analyze equipment performance and utilization to support continuous improvement
- Monitor and analyze SPC trends and product yield data
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of analysis, findings, and process changes
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process

Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts

Experience with business systems such as Power BI

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab or similar software)

Self-starter with the ability to proactively collaborate with teams outside of the immediate group to find solutions

Ability to translate technical and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
